Learn How to Make Each Day Count: Motivation Monday
You will never have this day again, so make it count.
I’m making this quote my mantra for the week. It is such a simple statement, but it holds so much importance.
My husband and I began our vacation at Cape Cod today, and although we will be here for five days, I know the time will go by much too quickly.
This is why today’s quote is especially resonant for me; we’ve been looking forward to this trip since last August, and I want to make sure that I enjoy each day to its fullest.

While we don’t have anything too specific planned, I know the days will involve lots of good food, random adventures, and playing on the beach. We will also spend time each night talking about one thing that made us happy, one thing for which are thankful, and one thing that made us laugh throughout the day. I’ve mentioned the importance of this reflection in an earlier post, and I think it’s especially appropriate for us this week.

That being said, making each day count is an important reminder for us every day – not just on vacation. Now admittedly, there are days when my husband and I talk about our day, and my response is, “I’m just thankful it’s over.” You know what? That’s okay. That’s reality. Not every day is rainbows and butterflies.
But by soaking up the good days and learning from bad, you are making the most of every one. You’re living life to its fullest, and when it comes down to it, that’s all we can do. Enjoy your week. Make each day count.

How do you make each day count? What do you do to make the most of every day? What are you going to celebrate today? Let me know below!
