Alright, friends. I am super excited about today’s podcast topic because I know it’s something that’s been on a lot of your minds recently.
And what’s the topic, you ask?
Overwhelm.
A few weeks ago, I took a poll on my Instagram stories asking everyone what they wanted to hear more about on the podcast.
I had options for more productivity tips, relationship strategies, communication tactics, time management hacks, organization tips, how to manage stress, etc.
By the way, if you’re not following me over @imbusybeingawesome yet, you totally should be! Head over to Instagram and give me a follow. I share lots of good tips over there about how to uplevel your life.
Anyway, this poll provided me with such helpful information about what you want to hear, what you’re struggling with, and what’s most interesting to you.
And of all the different options I posted – there were around 8-10 topics – every single person voted for a deep dive into overwhelm.
Wow.

Now, perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised.
Our world is filled with so many stimuli.
First of all, we’re constantly bombarded with tasks, meetings, practices, projects, and activities.
What’s more, we’re connected 24/7 to each one of those expectations through our phones and computers.
And in addition to all of the outer expectations, we often experience even higher expectations that we place on ourselves.
So we’re facing this constant pressure to be more, do more, and have more.
And then if that’s not enough, we are surrounded by countless options all of the time.
We’re constantly worried about making the best decision, choosing the right opportunity, and avoiding the bad options.
Honestly, if I’m not careful, I can get overwhelmed just writing about all of this stuff.
Fortunately, there are some powerful strategies available to help you move through the discomfort of overwhelm, manage your mind, and get on with your day.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to explore today.
